2. Materials and Methods

2.1. Chemicals and Reagents

Doxycycline and minocycline were purchased from the Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA) and Merck-Millipore (Darmstadt, Germany), respectively.

2.3. Preparation of Minocycline by Mixture of Minocycline and Doxycycline

The minocycline was dissolved in 1:1 diluted DMSO: minocycline (0.6:0.6) and diluted with 0.1%in 0.1N HCl in 0.9M HCl (50mL). The resulting solution was then placed in a centrifuge to remove the solvents and the residue was evaporated to give the residue solvents.
